Cupcakes...

Hi guys :)
I decided to show you guys how to bake cupcakes. I love making cupcakes and they are easy to bake and super yummy as well! This is my own recipe and have been using it for years! Hope you guys enjoy and lets get started!

 Ingredients for Cupcakes:

- 50 grams of Flour
- 50 grams of Sugar
- 1 Egg
-50 Grams Butter

Equipment:

- Weighing Scales
- Mixing Bowl
- Electrical Whisk

1. Put the butter and sugar into a bowl.

Mix the butter and sugar with an electrical whisk.

2. Once the butter and sugar are mixed together, add the egg in and mix with a electrical whisk.

Mix together until the mixture until it becomes smooth.

Add the flour into the mixture and stir. Don't use the electrical whisk, just a wooden spoon.

Stir until the mixture becomes thicker and all the flour is mixed in.

You will need a backing tray and cupcakes holders. These could be plastic or paper.

Evenly divide the cupcake mixture between the cupcake holders.

Make sure there is the same amount in each cupcake holder.

Then place the cupcakes into the oven, at gas mark 6 for 10 to 15 minutes or until light brown.

For the icing you will need, Butter and Icing Sugar.

Mix icing sugar and butter together to make the icing using an electrical whisk.

Mixture until it turns smooth, thick and creamy.

If you want a different coloured icing, you can add food colouring.
Pink Icing!!!!!!!!!!

Get a small spoon and spread the icing on the cupcakes.

Continue to add icing to all the cakes.

And you have cupcakes!!!

Well, I hope your cupcakes turned out well and you didn't burn your house down! Let me know if you enjoyed this post and want to see more posts about baking in the comments below. See you soon.

P.S do you like the photos?! I took them myself...

What I Do When I'm Bored...

Helllloooo :)

How many times do you say 'I'm bored' in one week?! I'm not going to lie I say this way to often and I thought I could do a post about things I do when I am bored. Being bored is a feeling that I often get when I'm at home or at school or when I'm meant to do looking coursework (mostly this). One thing I love to do when I am bored is to bake. Yep bake. You could bake many different things and is something that I could also do with your family, friends or girlfriend or boyfriend. Cupcakes are a simple thing to bake and can also make a cute snack. Another think I do when I am bored is reading. Now I know reading isn't for everyone but I love it because it can take you to a whole new place and just lets you experience different things. Some books I would recommend would be Divergent, The Fault In Our Stars and The Rescue. Other things I do if I'm bored at home would be painting my nails or curling my hair or even just trying different hairstyles. These are some things that I do to pass the time. You can leave comments below telling me what you do when your bored and what you want to see next.

Keep Going...It Gets Better

I thought I would talk about one thing that I have always hated...school. I am currently in sixth form and I am not going to lie, I cannot wait to leave and move on. Some people tell me to just enjoy it and that I shouldn't just wish my life away and I respond I am not wishing my life away and I am just simply wishing school away. School has always been one of those things I have just never enjoyed...yes there has been moments when I lose myself but most of the time I just don't want to go and I have to physically drag myself out of bed and off to school because if I didn't I would never get there believe me. However I'm not trying to be too negative I am just saying that if your feeling alone and not enjoying school like everyone else your not alone because I feel the same way. I have friends but none take the same course as me so about 90% of the time I am alone which sucks. After a year and a half of being alone during classes I have learnt a thing or two but I think that the most important thing I have learnt is that nothing lasts forever. I tell myself this everytime schools gets hard and I want to quit and give up because it helps me to power through. So whenever you are struggling to continue just remember even if it seems impossible there is light at the end of the tunnel. You may not always think its there but keep going and your get there. If your beginning your GCSEs, A Levels or finishing them or even starting university remember its a journey and you should try and enjoy it. One way to look at life is that it is an uphill climb and you will always be climbing and reaching new goals so keep going because they are some amazing things in life and school is just a stepping stone to an amazing life that you are going to lead.

Be strong now because things will get better, it might be stormy now but it can't rain forever.

What I Brought

Heyyyyyy :D

Why hello again and welcome back to my blog! This post is going to be a haul post because someone (me) may have done some shopping over the last couple of days. Now this is going to be a collective haul as I brought a range of things which include candles, clothes, shoes, books and beauty stuff. I brought all of these items with my own money that I earn myself. Well lets get started with the haul...

Beauty...

This is the Barry M Pomegranate  nail polish and was brought from Superdrug and cost 3.99. I love gelly hi shine nail paints because they last for a long time and are a really food quality.
The next thing I brought was nail paint removed. I use this type of removed because it works really well and works fast and removes all paint. It costs 1.59 and was also brought from Superdrug
I also got some Simple kind to skin cleansing facial wipes. These wipes are used to remove make up and I use these because I have very sensitive skin. They cost 1.99 and believe it or not I brought these from superdrug as well.

Candles...

I brought these tealights because I have a couple of tealight holders and I needed some candles. These come from a local pound shop. These candles smell of fresh peach.
These tealight candles are from the same pound shop however these smell of indulgent vanilla. There are 12 per pack and cost a pound per packet.

Books...

So one of my best friends ever kept going on about how good this book was and that I had to read it so I just decided to buy it and I am not going to lie I love it! I got this book from waterstones and cost 7.99.
Now I know this book is going to make me cry but I love love stories and everyone keeps going on about how good it is so I brought the book and it costs 7.99 also from waterstones.

Shoes...

I brought these shoes from New Look and they were on sale. I thought they would be perfect to pair with a dress for a night out. They are fairly high but have a platform inside so they aren't as high as you think.

They are made of a suede material and are very comfortable.
I would pair these heels with a cute dress, black tights and leather jacket.
They have some gold details at the back. They zip up at the back so they are easy to put on and take off.

Clothes...

The first item I brought was this cost. I have been looking for a parka coat for a long time because I live in the UK and it is freezing cold. When I found this coat I fell in love with it. It is a size 12 but it fits well and allows me to fit loads layers underneath it. It is from New Look and cost 30 pounds but worth the buy.
The next item I brought is from a charity shop. Now I love charity shops and think they are a great place to find good quality clothes at a cheap price. This top is from Topshop and I   brought it from the charity shop for 2 pounds which is amazing.

The last thing I brought was a dress also from the same charity shop and cost 3 pounds. This dress is from H & M and would be perfect for a date night.

Well thats everything I got in my haul. I hope you guys enjoyed and comment below telling me your favorite thing I brought and if you brought anything in the last couple of days. Till next time.

What I do on a girly day

Hi Hi

I decided today I would just blog about my day and today I had a girly day out with one of my closest friends. I was just having a boring kind of week and so me and a friend decided to catch up. Now, I know that I am always trying to think of new things to do and I know as a girl shopping is always a favorite choice but after awhile it can get boring so today we went to a pub and had an amazing lunch and I decided to share it with you. I also wanted to do this post because I wanted to share with you what I do on a girly day. A normal girly day for me contains lunch, shopping and coffee or hot chocolate.

There was sooo much to order from! All the food was amazing and it took me such along time to decide and order.

But in the end I decided to go with scampi, chips and peas and I am not going to lie it was so good I couldn't get enough.

Now I know what you are all thinking but I didn't eat two whole dessert because me and my friend shared both of these desserts and they tasted so damn good.

Now, after we eat so much food, we went for a look after and some window shopping we decided to go for a costa coffee and because I am not a coffee drinker I got a mango and passion fruit cooler.

Well I know this was a random post but I thought it would be fun to share what I do on a girly day with you all. Now I have done a bit of shopping lately so I was wondering if you wanted me to do a haul and show you guys want I brought, let me know in the comments.

Safe Haven Book Review

Hello again :)

Today I am going a post about one of my favorite book I have any read and is called Safe Haven. This is a book written by Nicholas Sparks and is a love story. I love these types of books and is an amazing book so if you are looking for something to read I would seriously recommend it. Because I loved this book so much I have read it at least 5 times if not more and I decided that I would try and write a review about it. Now this is my first review on a book so I am going to try my hardest to make it useful and helpful.

The book follows a young lady called Erin but they go by the name of Katie who ran away from her abusive and controlling husband to a small town called Southport where she meets a man called Alex who is single parent and they fall in love. This isn't your typical love story however because Katie's husband is a police officer and is going to extreme lengths to find her and also has a serious drinking problem.

One thing I love about this book is the main character. This is because the reader gets to see Katie's growth throughout the whole book. This is because when she is first introduced, she is shy, scared and isn't very opened to the idea of love. This is because she believes that her husband is going to find her and hurt her. I can relate to this character because I have been through a bad break up and was also closed of to love for sometime. I also like Katie because as the book goes on you get to see her open up and begin to life life more and fall in love which is a beautiful thing. She begins to get her guard down and you begin to see her true self.

The other main character is Alex. He is described as a older man and has two younger children, one boy and one girl. He was previously married but has wife died which he and has two children are still affected by.

At the heart of the book, it is about a women who begins to slowly let down her guard and begins to put down roots in a close-knit town but as she begins to fall in love, she struggles to keep a dark secret and that could hurt her and anyone she is close to.

I would really recommend this book to anyone who loves a good love story and is a sucker for happy ending. See you in the next post.

Gym Outfit

Welcome back :)

This is going to be a fashion post. As I have said before even through its no longer a full fashion blog I will still be doing fashion posts and todays post is going to be about gym outfits. Now I know people don't go to the gym to dress up but I believe that looking cute in gym wear helps motivate to get up and go work out. My normal gym outfit is a made up of sports leggings medium or long depending on the weather and a work out top. Because I live in the UK, I normally also have to wear a hoodie and jackets over the top and of course a pair of trainers. I love the nike free run trainers because they look cool and come in loads of different colours. To finish off this post, I am going to leave you with some photos to give you inspiration of what to wear to the gym if you need some motivation. See you next time!
