My 2015 Goals & Resolutions

Happy New Year! Can you believe that it is 2015?! I can't but moving on from that scary fact and onto my goals and resolutions. Every year I think of little things to change in the new year but I have never really done new years goals and resolutions. However I thought its a new year so why not come up with some goals and resolutions and share them with you...

1. Be Happy, Don't Worry
In 2014, there were more times when I was scared, upset or stressed about the silliest things so my first goal is to 'Be Happy, Don't Worry'. As a person who suffers from anxiety, the littlest things that most people won't think twice about, can sent me into an unhealthy mindset and makes me sad and upset. So in 2015 I have decided to smile more and not worry or stress about things such as eating in the University Restaurant or whether I have enough friends (and yes I know its quality not quantity).

 2. Get Up and Be More Active
I am that person that if given the chance would sit indoors all day. I think this is mainly due to the fact that I suffer from social anxiety and find socialising one of the hardest things to do. Because of this, I prefer to stay indoors which has its perks of getting my University work done and writing blog posts but it means I'm not as active as I should be. So in 2015, I am going to get out more even if this means just going out for a walk around the block.

3. Be Thankful for My Family and Friends
This may be slightly strange for a goal and resolution but sometimes I can take my family and friends for granted but not in a horrible way but not saying thank you or love you enough. My mum is my rock and my support system and before I went to University I didn't know how much she helped me. Often I forget that my friends may not want to hear about my problems 24/7 so in 2015, I am going to say thank you more and ask how other people are doing and make sure to tell my mum how amazing she is.

4. Cook and Have Healthier Meals
As any University student will know, cooking with five other people in the kitchen can be a issue and because of this, I often end up having a microwave meal with no vegetables. I know that is bad! So 2015 I am going to cook healthier and more interesting meals and this may even require looking up a recipe every once in a while. If I know I need to cook a meal and I know the kitchen is going to be busy then I will need to cook in advance and freeze it to reheat later.

5. Keep Up With Blogging
I'm sure that every blogger will be putting this down in their goals and resolutions but for me this is important because blogging gives me a way of expressing myself without having anyone telling me what to do or who to be. I started my blog back in 2013 but stopped and didn't start again until February. So 2015, I plan to blog at least once or twice a week and perhaps even more and hopefully grow my blog.

Those are my five goals and resolutions for 2015 and I may do a post later in the year to see how I am doing and whether I am keeping up my goals and resolutions. Fingers crossed I will complete all of these goals and resolutions and I hope you have such a great 2015.

What are your goals and resolutions for 2015?
