Top Three Cleansers

Cleansers are some of my skincare products to experiment with as they come in many different types of forms and have many uses. However after playing around with a range of cleansers, I have found my top three. Because of my dry skin, I have found that oils, balms and creams work best for mine skin and I thought I would share them with you.

The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter - £13
I featured this cleansing butter in my most recent favourites post as I have been using it non stop. I hadn't previously tried cleansing butters as they are generally more expensive. However when I tried this butter for the first time, I fell in love with the texture and ease of it. I take a pea sized amount of product before rubbing it between my fingers and then applying it to a full face of make up. My favourite part of the product is that it melts the make up before being removed with a hot cloth or flannel and leaves the skin smooth and soft.

Super Facialist By Una Brennan Vitamin C Cleansing Oil - £10.99
The idea of using a cleansing oil isn't appealing to everyone but this budget friendly cleansing oil is amazing. I normally pour the oil directly onto my hand and massage it into my hand and fingers before rubbing it onto a full face of make up. The oil melts into the skin and breaks down dirt and make up and washes off with a cloth or by splashing water over your face. The scent of the product is fruity and fresh as well as leaving your skin feeling refreshed.

The Body Shop Aloe Calming Cream Cleanser - £10
I am a massive of cream cleansers as they are generally more hydrating but my favourite cream cleanser comes from The Body Shop. I am obsessed with the Aloe Skincare range from this store and is amazing for sensitive skin girls like myself. I often use this cream cleanser as a second cleanse to clean my face. I squeeze out a pea sized amount of product and apply it to a fresh face without make up on and massage it into the skin before washing it off with water. This cream cleanser has a fresh scent to it and leaves the face feeling refreshed and clean.

What are your favourite cleansers?

  1. I experiment with cleansers too and I am currently using 5 haha. I have a few favourites that I will definitely repurchase but I like to try new products. Next on my list is a cleansing balm.
